Support Our Troops Pin
--PRAYER/HEART PIN AVAILABLE. SEE BELOW.--
  • CBN's OPERATION PRAYER SHIELD. A prayer campaign for the troops (people praying specifically by name, state and branch). People can leave encouraging messages for our service women and men on line and families can send pictures for The 700 Club's Wall of Prayer.

  • Please visit the Department of Defense web page and sign in thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of each month.

  • WRITE THE TROOPS. This service allows people to become pen pals with troops. AOL members can go to keyword: WRITE THE TROOPS. It is a joint project of AOL and USO and it offers an interactive format.

  • VALENTINES FOR TROOPS. Although this Farrels Ice Cream parlor is located in California, they do show ways people can write to troops, ship needed items, donate to the USO and encourage our heroes in various, creative ways.

  • SOLDIERS, SAILORS, AIRMEN and MARINES FOR CHRIST. Local Outreach and fellowship for men and women in uniform. Also a singles ministry. Found in the Shepherd's Guide. 212-252-2088.

  • SUPPORT OUR TROOPS IN PRAYER. Our ministry, NYCRC, is in a 40 day prayer for the Lent season, "Seek God for the City". Our Intercessory Prayer Group is called to pray for these brave men and women, interrupting our lives to pray as they have interrupted their lives to serve. If there are local material needs of military families, we would like to help through Operation Blessing and local churches as well. We are sending out "Support our Troops in Prayer" heart pins, designed by Debbie and Clyde Hicks, along with "A Call to Prayer." To receive a pin, send $1 with your name and address (include zip code) to:
