NYCRC coordinates a variety of ongoing
and seasonal efforts that impact the Metro New York community.
The following is an abbreviated description of major efforts
listed alphabetically.
Back to School providing
school clothing, supplies and educational materials to
inner city children and youth with their promise to stay
in school and excel for the Glory of God. Fall, winter
and summer editions are implemented annually.
Bless-A-Child serving
at risk children through innovative programs that inspire
creativity, advocate physical, mental and spiritual fitness
and promote personal responsibility and family restoration.
Summer camps, sports clinics, after school centers and
computer clubs are among regional efforts.
Comfort & Joy (Christmas Outreach)
sharing Gods love in tangible and meaningful
ways during the Christmas season including the distribution
of toys and food baskets and sponsoring holiday dinners.
Development Programs
teaching "how to fish" through job training,
counseling services, rehabilitation programs, educational
endeavors, life skills training and other personal development
emphases.
Easter Blessings
mobilizing the Good News through holiday outreach programs
during Spring months.
Evangelization reaching
communities through Bible and literature distribution,
street outreach, prison ministry and other community services.
Heart to Heart nurturing
victims of domestic violence and AIDS through small but
heart warming acts of compassion that direct attention
to eternal promises of healing and peace.
Hunger Strike Force (Food Distribution)
delivering nutritious food to communities and ministries.
The Hunger Strike Force is Operation Blessings fleet
of refrigerated tractor-trailers combating hunger in cities
nationwide.
Individual Assistance
empowering financial stability in disadvantaged homes
through rent and utility assistance matched with benevolent
aid from local churches and ministries. (Limited availability.)
Loaves & Fishes Leadership Symposium
networking ministries in fellowship, strategy building,
community development and prayer through our annual conference
and other events.

Someone Cares! (718)
265-CARE ministering to the personal needs
of callers by providing crisis referrals, spiritual comfort
and other interventions through our telephone "care
line" support service.
Warm-A-Heart caring
for the homeless and hurting through the distribution
of blankets, coats and other winter-wear and hygiene packs
in conjunction with holiday outreach programs and throughout
the winter season.
